We believe that each child is unique and is part of a family that is the primary influence in the child's
life. Communication between parents and educator's is essential in maintaining positive open relationships.
We believe children need time to enjoy play at their own level of development, try new experiences
and practise new skills in all areas of development (language and literacy, mathematics and science,
social and emotional, problem solving, creative art and movement and responsibility and respect for
others and self), working towards the outcome outlined in the Early Years Learning Framework. To
achieve this, indoor and outdoor learning environments will be safe, stimulating and based on the children's interests, strengths and needs.
Programs will reflect the diversity of cultures within the preschool, the wider community and
throughout Australia, encouraging children to respect and celebrate our similarities and diversities
and to challenge social and cultural inequities.
A challenging, stimulating educational program supported by caring staff has the greatest potential
to promote development and resilience within children.
